Highlights of Impact

Our Clients

At the Portico Care Centre, we walk alongside individuals by connecting them with the care and support they need. To date, 139 individuals have scheduled appointments through the Care Centre, receiving support in areas such as mental, financial, physical, and spiritual health. Each appointment represents an opportunity to provide guidance, practical support, and holistic care, ensuring that individuals have access to the care they need.

Our Groups

Over the past two years, the PORTICO Care Centre has supported more than 2,048 individuals through its diverse range of programs.

Wellness Nights consisted of nine weeks of group sessions designed to provide participants with a supportive and engaging environment.

Additionally, the PORTICO Care Centre hosted a range of educational seminars offering practical guidance and valuable information to the community. Seminar topics included Senior Online Safety, Women's Health & Wellness, Financial Health Check, and Mental Health Made Simple. These sessions enabled participants to expand their knowledge, increase awareness, and access resources to support personal growth and overall well-being.

These programs promote healing, shared understanding, spiritual support and social connection, which can be especially beneficial for mental health and recovery.

Our Seminars

We are excited to integrate seminars into our core services, offering an impactful way to connect with and support our community. These seminars serve as an opportunity to address a wide range of relevant topics—informing, equipping, and uplifting individuals based on their specific needs.

Our seminars have covered vital subjects such as mental health, emotional well-being, and online safety for seniors. Each session is designed to not only respond to the challenges our attendees are facing, but also to provide hope, clarity, and practical guidance.

More than just informational events, our seminars have become a space where meaningful community and lasting friendships can form. They reinforce a powerful message: no one has to navigate life alone. Through these gatherings, we’re helping to build a stronger, more connected community—one conversation at a time.

Our projection is to have at least 8 seminars run throughout our fiscal year which will allow us to care for and meet the needs of our community.
